The major improvement seems...read moreI’ve had several of these and in my opinion they are an improvement over the 9 blade inrunner and the original 12 Blade with the outrunner motors. The major improvement seems to be in the efficiency resulting in longer runs combined with better sound. I had the very first run of Avanti 12 blade EDFs with an outrunner. The sound was fantastic, but the runs were short. The 9 blade inrunner improved power and efficiency but had too much motor whine. The latest is the best balance in my opinion and Motion should finish the job by switching all their 80mm’s over. They are switching the 90 mm 6S to the new 3668 12 blade, so apparently they’re getting good feedback. Excellent products for reasonable prices.
